duRing the last phase of the ongoing serie "In Residence" by documentary-choreographer Jo Parkes with Tanzfabrik Berlin I co-curated and set up an installation in 12 vaRious spots, each featuring a video poRtRait of "On Tradition" facing a public street in beRlin. the shoRt clip poRtRaits show 12 people who are in one way or another connected to Badstrasse in Wedding, beRlin. with the beautiful cameRa work of Sven O. Hill, the rhythmic and witty editing of Lena Hatebut, the fine ear of sound-designer Mattef Kuhlmey, the sharp curation of dancer and choreographer Florian Bilbao and most importantly the empathetic community work of Sophie Brunner, Ayse Avdic and Jo Parkes, these clips offer a momentary insight into the personalities and intimate worlds of badstrasse. by simply offeRing the residents the chance to speak for themselves the clips dance the dance of their lives. For the exhibition the street became the showroom :: ever so uncanny, pedestrians were often right in-front of the artwork and only had to reach for the headphones to enter the poRtRaits whilst standing right next to where the protagonists proceeded with their everyday work.

The installation was guest exhibited in ZAK, Bochum and the Tanzrauschen Festival 2016, Wuppertal, 2016.
